1940: William L. Klein was called upon as the logical man to produce "164 years of American Democracy", an electrical transcription series sponsored by Appreciate America, Inc.  Mr. Klein and his staff produced one program a week, which was presented as a public service to all radio stations carrying different foreign-language programs.  [Source of Photo]
