The light opera performance of "Gypsy Love" was presented in the Chicago Civic Opera House on March 4th for the benefit of the German Old People's Home. Starring: Lucie Westen, Irma Ferency. Angelo Lippich, Max Bratt and S. Vollstedt.
Performance was repeated in Milwaukee in the Davidson Theatre on April 15th.
In view of the success of the Seventh Anniversary Celebration in Chicago on January 13th, a similar affair was given in Milwaukee on February 7th; 2,000 people attended.

Radio station WIBO went off the air on June 11th and "Germania Broadcast" programs remained on same wave length and time on Station WIND.
The 5th annual tour to Europe sailed on June 10th on the S. S. Statendam.
0n January 13th the classical operetta, "Zigeunerbaron," was presented in the Auditorium Theatre; this was the first in the regular series of "Gennania Broadcast" productions and the first Gennan performance since the closing of the German Theatre.
The 6th Anniversary Celebration was held in the Steuben Club on November 5th. 5,000 people filled all the halls and many hundreds could not find admission.
The 4th annual excursion to Europe was conducted by Mr. Klein on the S. S. Rotterdam and sailed on June 4th.
An eventful year for the "Germania Broadcast." On May 22nd Director William L. Klein transferred the programs back to Station WIBO and opened a Daily German Broadcast (30 mins?). Programs were heard on weekdays at 6 P.M. and on Sundays at 12 Noon.
December 12th: The 4th anniversary celebration of the "Germania Broadcast" in the Steuben Club. This was the first of the famous Radio Concerts and Balls which have become tradition with the listeners of these programs. 2,000 people attended.
